The Power of Non-Judgmental Listening in Coaching

When was the last time you felt like you were truly listened to?
Have you ever expressed yourself openly because you were confident someone would listen to you without judgment?
Or did you feel in your heart that you were understood equally, in harmony, and independent of all status and rank at the moment?
What does the client talk about with the coach? What does the client say/what should he say when the coach asks the client, “What did you bring here today? What would you like to talk about?”
Listening without judgment and full presence
A coach who listens to you without judgment, with 100% presence, will be there for you. No matter how scattered you are, no matter how far you think you have strayed from the subject, he will collect and distill what he has heard for you and mirror it back to you.
Hearing yourself in an agenda-free session
When you arrive at the time you have agreed upon for the meeting day, your online/face-to-face coach will not have an agenda. He/she will not take notes during your practices, except when he/she asks for permission, he/she will listen in the moment. Sometimes you will hear your topic in your own voice. Sometimes you will bring the answers to your questions with what you bring in your palm.
Your journey of change and transformation
If you set out with the intention of change and transformation, everything in the universe serves this. Aries will accompany you on this journey.
Making time to sit with questions
Remember, questions are not always to be answered. Try to look through the window that opens in your heart/mind, take time for thinking tasks for yourself.
