Celebrate Yourself: A Simple Self-Appreciation Practice

Today we will experience something that we often deny ourselves and perhaps most of us do not do: CELEBRATE OURSELVES.
Celebrating ourselves? I can almost hear you saying, “How will this benefit me?” Celebrating yourself is actually seeing yourself. First of all, seeing your existence, remembering your successes. Touching your shoulder, maybe putting your hand on your heart and appreciating yourself.
Even though we cannot experience this at the same time because we are all reading this article in our own time, we will all experience it together with the belief that our souls are experiencing the same experience at the same time in the collective.
Pause, breathe, and hug yourself
Wherever you are right now and whatever state you are in, first take a deep breath that will relax and calm you. Then, place your right hand on your left shoulder, your left hand on your right shoulder and hug yourself tightly.
Give yourself a big hug.
If you have read my article up to this point, it means you intend to do this.
I felt the smile on your face. Let the words of congratulations flow from your heart.
Celebrate everything that you are
Celebrate your goodwill.
Congratulations on being a helpful person.
Celebrate your struggle despite the challenges.
Celebrate the space you’ve created for yourself.
Celebrate your breathing despite everything.
Celebrate your existence.
What would you celebrate?
If you were to celebrate something about yourself, what would it be?
